Review of the 13-inch MacBook (Part 1)

The new MacBook I have see is a great laptop as it gives high performance and high end graphics to the user. The design of the MacBook is amazing. It is made from just one solid aluminum block, making it look bold and gives a futuristic design that could last for few years. It has a display of 13.3 inch. Its is also very thin (only 0.95 inch). Its really incredible in terms of hardware and software.

The Hardware

The CPU is running in Intel Core 2 Duo from 2.0Ghz to 2.3Ghz. The hard disk could be supported up to 320Gb or 128GB solid state drive. It has NVIDIA Geforce 9400M as the graphic processor with 256mB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory. It also has a Built in iSight camera which is around 1.3 megapixel (also known as WebCam). The DDR3 SDRAM can be supported up to 4GB. The Wi-Fi uses 802.11n together with a built in bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) module. It has two 2.0 USB ports. The mouse trackpad uses a muti-touch technology, which you can make use of four fingers at a time for different functionality. It is a slot in 8x DVD+/-RW ROM. The battery can be used up to 5 hours, including the wireless productivity. Finally, the keypad is actually has a back light as this allows the user to type onto the keyboard easily in the non well-lit areas (dark places).

Overall, the hardware is really great for a laptop. The graphic card is really excellent which is really useful when it comes to multimedia usage or gaming. :).

Let's continue the software specifications in Review of the 13 inch MacBook (Part 2).

To be Continued....
